NCDs include Parkinson’s disease, autoimmune diseases, strokes, most heart diseases, most cancers, diabetes, chronic kidney disease, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, Alzheimer’s disease, cataracts, and others.
The Global Burden of Disease (GBD) 2019 report has released and published in the Lancet journal. Generally, it shows that Afghanistan has made progress in control of infectious diseases and that lesser Afghans die of it.
